The requirements of the City of Portland F.A.I.R. Ordinance have significantly changed the way that landlords must handle advertising, screening, deposits and final accountings on all residential income properties within the City of Portland. Since their inception March 1^st, 2020, most of us have heard of the F.A.I.R. (Fair Access In Renting) rules. However, how do we as landlords comply with and implement these requirements into our regular business practices? Please join us for this two-part series; Part One: Applications & Screening, and Part Two: Security Deposits.
