DESCRIPTION:October 2026 Dinner Meeting\nWednesday October 21st\, 2026 starting at 5:00pm\nSpeaker: Steve Anderson with First Class Properties\nTopic: Property Tax Appeals. \nWe will cover measures 5 and 50 and their impact\, appeal timelines\, property information available to you\, the way most properties are assigned value\, class/grade/\nquality and how that affects the value\, who can appeal\, the hearing itself\, appeal rights of the decision\, and compression\, how it works\, and an application of it. Steve will share stories of actual\ncases he was involved with both as a taxpayers representative and as a former hearings officer for the Clackamas Co. Board of Property Tax Appeals. It is fast paced and we try to have fun with\na very dry subject. \n \nLocation: The Old Spaghetti Factory\n715 S. Bancroft Street\nPortland OR 97239\nMeal Choices; \nFettuccine Alfredo\nOR\nSpaghetti with Meat sauce\nOR\nSpaghetti with Clam Sauce \nAll entrees come with Fresh baked bread and garlic butter\, Garden Salad with Creamy Pesto dressing\, and Spamoni Ice Cream \n$35.00 per member when registering before October 16\, 2026\n$45.00 per member when registering after October 16\, 2026\n\n					All dinner meetings are open to members in good standing or their invited guests. A member in good standing may register and pay for an invited guest at the member rate for the dinner meeting. General public must pay at the time of registration. To qualify for the early bird registration rate you must have your registration into the RHA office no later than 4:59pm on the listed early registration date in the advertising for the event. Deadline for refund/credit or cancellation of registration is up until 48 hours prior to the date and time of the dinner meeting\, up until 48 hours prior you will be refunded 100% of the cost to attend. If a registered guest/member does not cancel and/or does not show to the scheduled dinner meeting then the registered guest/member will be required to pay the full amount of the dinner meeting. All registrations are non-transferable.
