Presenter: Isaiah Kamrar
Title: Program Manager, Residential Sector, Energy Trust of Oregon.
What will be presented: A practical, conversational session titled “Rental Property Owner Opportunities: A Practical Conversation About Energy Trust Pathways” (dated July 15, 2026).
It’s aimed at rental property owners and walks through how to tap Energy Trust of Oregon incentives and support for energy upgrades. Specifically, the talk covers:
- Background on Energy Trust as an independent nonprofit serving major Oregon/SW Washington utility customers, and its track record of energy savings and incentives.
- Which Energy Trust route fits a given property — the Residential Rental pathway (detached single-family, manufactured homes, duplex–fourplex, townhomes) versus the Multifamily pathway (larger properties with common areas and central equipment).
- A 2025 snapshot of real average rental project costs, incentives, and savings for common upgrades (ceiling/floor/wall insulation, ductless heat pumps, gas furnaces, heat pump replacements).
- When to check for incentives and how to avoid missing support during replacement and turnover work, closing with a success-story example.
- Q&A and Discussion on Pathways and Available Resources

All dinner meetings are open to members in good standing or their invited guests. A member in good standing may register and pay for an invited guest at the member rate for the dinner meeting. General public must pay at the time of registration. To qualify for the early bird registration rate you must have your registration into the RHA office no later than 4:59pm on the listed early registration date in the advertising for the event. Deadline for refund/credit or cancellation of registration is up until 48 hours prior to the date and time of the dinner meeting, up until 48 hours prior you will be refunded 100% of the cost to attend. If a registered guest/member does not cancel and/or does not show to the scheduled dinner meeting then the registered guest/member will be required to pay the full amount of the dinner meeting. All registrations are non-transferable.
